“ The reviews here are very mixed. We had a very good lunch here today. Value for money is really good for Denmark. ”Toldbodfad” was really plentiful, varied and very tasty. The smörrebrod was good too. But it doesn't seem to be a tourist restaurant. There is no English menu. Google helps here. The nice waiter spoke some German, but it wasn't enough for the menu. ”

“ Went there for a Sunday lunch with my wife and her aunt. We chose the "Toldbodfad" lunch plate with homemade pickled and curry herring, freshly butter-fried breaded fish fillet with remoulade, eggs with hand-peeled prawns, chicken salad, Brie and a mild, creamy blue cheese. Served with fresh bread and crispbread. And everything was absolutely delicious and well prepared and served. The curry herring with significantly more curry taste than the norm. (I liked it, very much) The restaurant has a view over the harbor and the interior is held in a maritime style and is nicely done. Bottom line is: We had a very nice lunch and surely will visit Tolboden again. But this time during summer so we can enjoy the outside seating ”

“ Great restaurant. My parents celebrated their birthday party there. They have an upstairs area that you can rent for larger parties or meetings. The area has a nice big balcony, so it's great in the summer (+the restaurant has a view of the nice harbour in frederikssund). The food is also really nice and always very pretty - it's a fancy restaurant, so they make sure the food looks and taste amazing. ”
